View from Casa

This watercolor is my largest painting to date at 2 by 3 feet (61 x 91 cm). It was ordered as a special commission by a bride for her groom. It captures the view from a cherished family home, where the groom spent his childhood and where the couple now lives temporarily. Soon they'll move to their new home, leaving behind this daily view - but not the memories. Painting this scene was a real treat, knowing it will carry the emotional weight of a place that was deeply loved.
