The Cool Quiet

This piece is inspired by my experiences of living simply, aligned with the rhythms of the natural environment. In a place where one can hear the delicate murmur of trees and the gentle lapping of waves. The hushed scene invites viewers to pause, to look, then find their own meaning within the calm washes of color.

This watercolor on paper is mounted on a wood panel, then finished with a protective varnish and wax surface. The painting is layered with delicate oil-based highlights that catch the light and deepen its luminosity.  This piece is unframed and comes ready to hang on your wall.
