Big Island Morning

I painted this watercolor outdoors by the tropical shoreline of the Big Island of Hawaii. Standing under the shade of heliotrope trees, I could see patches of azure water through the branches.  In the distance, a sailboat was visible heading down the coast. A warm tropical breeze was rustling the leaves, creating a peaceful coastal scene. 

This artwork is painted on high-quality watercolor paper. It comes with a white mat and is framed in solid wood under glass. The outside dimensions of the framed piece are 14 x 16 inches.
