Heading Home

This is one of many stunning sunsets that I've witnessed on the Big Island of Hawai'i.  As the day fades into evening, the golden sky transitions into hues of yellow and red. In the distance, a flock of egrets is heading to their roost. A sailboat glides gently across the bay, getting ready to anchor. The warm, reflective water mirrors the vibrant sky while waves roll towards the shore lined with palm trees. This painting evokes the peaceful rhythm of tropical latitudes.
